Membership is R90.00 a year which entitles you to attend our meetings, and our workshops. You also get to receive the club magazine, The Write Stuff. Paid up members are eligible to enter club competitions and have their work published in the club magazine. Its a simple process: Many potential members attend one of our meetings and become a member at the meeting. Should you wish to attend a meeting, or join without further ado, please send a comment to us on this page with an indication of your willingness to join and we’ll contact you. Don’t forget to leave your name and e-mail address.
The Write Stuff, Issue 119 – September/October 2008
Meetings take place on the last Saturday of each month, except
July and December. The venue is The Main Hall, Elphin Lodge,
Modderfontein Road, Lyndhurst, Johannesburg (next door to
Edenvale Hospital). Meetings begin at 13h30 for 14h00. Parking
is secure.
Contributing your writing
The next issue of The Write Stuff will be No. 120 – November/
December 2008. The deadline for submissions is 31 October
2008.
Please send submissions to The Editor. Preferably by email as an
attachment, or on disk. Articles should be between 300 and 800
words, Stories between 500 and 1,000 words, and Poetry 50 lines
maximum.
The copyright of any written work published in this
magazine or on our website remains vested with the author(s).
